911 Carrera 4

If you’re in the market for a used Porsche 911 under 20k, you’ll be pleased to know that a wide variety of models are available. Whether you want a classic Carrera or an updated Macan, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for.

1999 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 cabriolet

If you are looking for a Porsche 911, consider a 1999 model. This Porsche is a convertible that has been maintained and is in excellent condition. It comes with a clean Carfax and 57,687 miles.

The 911 Cabriolet is a classic sports car well-known and loved by a large fan base. It offers the precise handling and attitude as the coupe, and you can choose between all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive. A top that retracts with a remote key fob keeps the roof open.

Compared to its predecessor, the 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is 6.7 inches longer, 1.2 inches wider, and 110 pounds lighter. It is also more aerodynamic. Having the extra length improves traction and handling. In addition, it helps keep the rear seatbacks folded for more cargo space.

Powered by a 3.4-liter flat-six, the 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 can have 296 horsepower. Compared to the previous model, the engine is smaller, which provides greater power and efficiency. It also uses forged aluminum pistons, four valves per cylinder, and a VarioCam variable valve timing system.

The interior is spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of rear knee room, and the instrument panel features five overlapping analog gauges. You can even get a covered hood and trunk release.

With a 1999 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, you can enjoy the benefits of all-wheel drive. You can choose from a Tiptronic or manual H6 transmission.

The Cabriolet’s soft top can be lowered by hand or using a remote key fob. The top keeps the Z shape when unfolding, which is reduced to 15 seconds.

One of the most famous Porsche models, the 911 has been a top-of-the-line sports car for over six decades. But in recent years, prices have increased significantly. For example, a 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera GT3 will cost anywhere from $55,000 to $100,000.

Used water-cooled 911s offer excellent value and performance. They are a great choice for those who want to purchase a top-of-the-line Porsche but want to avoid paying the full MSRP.

2006-2008 Porsche Cayman

The Porsche Cayman (also known as the Cayman S) is a two-door, rear-drive coupe based on the Boxster roadster. It has a 3.4-liter horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine. Powered by this engine, the Cayman S achieves a top speed of 171 mph. In addition, the Cayman S is rated at 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway with the optional Tiptronic(r) S automatic transmission.

Compared to the Boxster, the Cayman has a stiffer chassis and a more powerful engine. The 3.4-liter engine produces 295 horsepower and 251 pound-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm.

In addition to the powerful engine, the Cayman S boasts a more sporty interior. The cockpit includes covered storage bins, cup holders in the center console, and door panels. Also, the seats are more supportive.

A leather-covered gear shift knob and handbrake handle add to the feel of the steering wheel. An optional BOSE Surround Sound System featuring ten speakers delivers an excellent sound experience. Likewise, the front and rear seat airbags are equipped to protect the driver and passenger from the threat of collisions.

Some standard features include heated and power-adjustable sports seats, a nine-speaker CD stereo system, and a navigation system. There is also a rear parking assist system.

For a more sporty driving experience, the Porsche Cayman S also offers an Active Suspension Management option. This system allows the driver to switch between a comfortable ride and a track-ready setup. The Cayman S’s suspension is adjusted during this mode to remove the body roll and provide a more focused steering effort.

Like the Boxster, the Cayman has two cargo areas. However, the rear area is recessed behind the engine, giving the cabin a more compact feel.

Despite the Cayman’s compact appearance, there is plenty of room for luggage and two golf bags. Additionally, the trunk has a chrome safety bar that prevents the luggage from sliding forward.

With the 3.4-liter engine, the Porsche Cayman S achieves a top speed of 171 mph. The car reaches 60 mph in 5.1 seconds and 99 mph in 11.7 seconds.

2015 Dark Blue Metallic Porsche Macan S

If you’re in the market for a compact SUV, check out the Porsche Macan. It’s a sporty and compact car with the performance of a full-size SUV. This model features twin-turbocharged V6 engines and a seven-speed PDK automatic transmission.

The Macan is available in eleven different colors. The one I’m reviewing is Dark Blue Metallic. This isn’t a bold choice compared to other colors, but it has its merits.

For a sporty SUV, the metallic paint on this model has a lot to offer. It’s bright, and it shines like a million bucks. It is a good option. But it lacks some of the shine with a real metallic paint job.

Silver on this Macan is not the shiny silver of the name-brand competition. Instead, it has a lovely shimmer and blends in with the rest of the grey on the vehicle.

The Porsche Macan has an unusual powertrain for a compact SUV. It’s a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that produces 340 horsepower. When paired with a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission, this engine is good for 339 lb-ft of torque.
